:(

My roommate just left. I won't see her until Saturday :(

haha... I'm glad I had a roommate I knew from home. I don't think I could have made it. I'm a real homebody. When my parents dropped me off the first day, I cried and called them about ten times. This experience has been so great for me. Although I'm a little shy... Okay, ALOT shy, I believe this has helped me open up a little.

Even though I am SOOOOOO happy to go home, I find myself crying because I'm leaving. I've met GREAT people, had GREAT times and GREAT classes. I'm so glad that I chose EKU. So although I can't wait until tomorrow to go home, I also can't wait until next year to make more memories with my GREAT friends!

I hope everyone is having a week. good luck! I love you all!

  1. EKU really is an awesome school, it makes you feel like a home away from home! I did the same thing my freshman year, I was lucky and got paired w/ a roommate that is still a good friend of mine! We both cried when our families left and then cried when we left school for the summer! It's crazy how strangers can become family so quickly!

  2. My roommate is from home too! WE have known each since we were kids! It amazing to look and pictures and talk about how much we have grown. She is more of a home body as me but i know my experience at eku would not have been a good one without her here by myside. Our first day we cried together called and talked to both of our moms! We got over it real fast when we gained out indenpendence and saw how much fun it can be! I can not believe how much we have grown up since we came to eku! I love my bestfriend lol! I still call my mom 10 times a day though, not everything has changed :-)
