Midway College

I was just wondering if anyone had previously attended Midway College or had heard any good or bad comments from anyone else about the college. I have talked to people who have completed their online program, but I'm skeptical.

    My friend Brent is doing it and he likes it. He is now employed with Boyle County Schools under a emergency certificate to teach Special Education at an elementary school. Hope this helps a little.

    I attended for one semester. I then transferred to EKU after a friend of mine who has been a teacher for some time told me that the school she works for will not hire someone with a degree in Education from Midway because of the experiences they have had. She said their students just arent prepared. I guess since it is such a quick program (bachelors in 2 years), the students do not have the same experience as if they done a four year program at another university. I hope this helps!
