So I was just wondering if you guys have any concerns for this class?? I've never had a night class before so I'm wondering how it will compare to other classes that I have mulitple times a week. I'm also nervous because this is one of the first special ed. classes that is actually specific to a certain aspect of special ed. I've taken a few others and they were just basic over views. I look forward to getting to know everyone while learning a lot throughout the next semester.
What do you guys think?

I had one night class last semester but it was twice a week. I feel that one of the most difficult things to deal with when in an evening class is staying focused, and awake. I also look forward to learning about language and speech disabilities because because my major is communication disorders!
ReplyDeleteI am really nervous about night class also. I have never had one before this semester. After having class tonight, I do not believe it will be too bad.
ReplyDeleteNight classes can sometimes be a little boring because they are so long. However, I think that Mrs.White is going to make this one interesting. After going over her expectations and plans for the course on Wednesday night, im looking forward to the class. I have a good feeling about it...
ReplyDeleteI have had a few night classes and I really enjoyed them. I don't like walking to my car in the dark but I guess that's part of it :(
ReplyDeleteI park right outside Wallace. If you're willing to wait for me after class I am more than willing to drive anyone to their cars - especially due to the dark and the cold.
ReplyDeleteI love night classes!! I get to sleep in during the day and only have to sit through class at night! My only problem is im starving by the time i get there or after class but its worth it.
ReplyDeleteBeing a non traditional student almost all my classes are at night and I prefer them to the classes I was taking a few years back when I lived on campus. The hardest thing is only meeting once a week and not having as much contact with your professor as classes that meet more often. Overall the night classes are usually not to bad.
ReplyDeleteNight classes aren't bad. I have had many of them over my "long" education career. The only advice I would give is to try to show up always and stay up on the material the instructor assigns and you will do fine.
ReplyDeleteNight classes aren't my favorite becuase I work all day and by the time class is over I still have an hour and fifteeen mintue drive home. But as far as the class goes, in the past my night classes have seemed to be more relaxed and easy going. Most of my night class prof. have had other jobs so they are with students all day and seem to be more willing to help.
ReplyDeleteNight classes are fun because you are able to engage in more learning and group work. When you have classes that only last one hour or so your not able to really interact as much with students in your class. The only problem with night classes are that you must make sure that you do not slip behind. Some people forget that they have work for their night class and get behind. I took SED 104 class semester in an itv night class and it was so much fun. I was able interact and become close with other students in my class. As Hali phelps said that it tough with you hungry in a night class, you should eat before and try to bring a little snack and you will do perfectly fine!
