Hello

Hi everyone! My name is Heather Hyatt, and I am in Mrs. White's Wednesday night class. I am a junior here at Eastern, and I recently changed my major from Ele. Education to Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education with a minor in ASL. I love my classes so far, but I feel as if I am somewhat behind from my fellow peers. I am from Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. I have lived there all my life, and if you have never heard of it I would not be surprised. I cannot wait to graduate, and begin my work and life as an educator, hopefully within the state of Kentucky!
Bye Y'all!
Heather

  1. I used to live in Danville so I know exactly where you live. Danville was a dry county so we had to travel to Lawrenceburg or Nicholasville if you wanted a drink! HAHA! Do you commute or live on campus? Quite a bit away. Do not worry about feeling like you are behind you will find someone who will help catch you up.

  2. I live on the Anderson-Mercer county line, and I know what you mean. Within a five mile radius from my home there are atleast five Liqour Stores....and most are drive through!!! Anywho, I live on campus in the dorms, and it sucks to say the least. I am sure that I will find someone to help me out. I also need help with what files should be placed where on Taskstream under the Teaching Standards. Any hints about what you have placed there would help!

  3. I have just begun the EDF 203 class so I am not sure yet about what goes where. I will give out information as I learn though. I do not know many signs or I would help you. I am majoring in LBD so if you know anything that could help me, I always listen for new ways to help the children.
