ReplyDeletei always have been considered myself as a delayed learning even though many people denied that fact i am. first of all dont put sympathy on your thought :) i tend to take a lot of time to able to express myself thru writing because I was exposed my first language at age 9 and it wa ASL. I learned English right before i hit the puberty fortunately i have been sticking up with the stimulations of"what's going on out there in the world" to keep me going enough for me to catch up my languages even though i am not fluent in English yet, still working on it. My point is that i do understand why it is important for a child to be exposed to the language early as possible!!
