I have received word that my father will have surgery at 4:00 this afternoon. I am unable to get someone to teach the class for me this evening. Therefore, tonight's class IS CANCELLED.
I would encourage you to take the time to post questions and ideas about the models of language acquisition on the blog to allow us to discuss them and deepen our understanding of them. I will have my LAPTOPS with me and be in the waiting room on WIFI.
Just be glad I'm not making us do an ONLINE CLASS with me in the waiting room - and you in your living rooms or dorm rooms or library!
Actually . . . if anyone's online tonight . . . ;) I might just show up in Blackboard somewhere!!!

ReplyDeleteMy father's surgery was successful. They were able to do the colostomy. However, upon doing this to alleviate the blockage caused by the tumor they found the cancer has spread throughout the abdomen. The cancer is very aggressive and is the most advanced stage.
ReplyDeleteThe doctor believes my dad has perhaps weeks or months to live.
I believe time and my dad's life is in the Lord's hands. We will trust Him for each and every day.
I appreciate everyone's prayers.
