Several people had to miss class this week due to illness, family emergency, etc. Others may just want to have a REPEAT of "What's The Language Project Entail?" If there is anyone who is interested in getting together this weekend - preferably Sunday evening I will do a Coffee Session. I'll do this for one or 11 - the number doesn't matter - I just need a response.
I'll email this out as well - respond here or in email and let me know if you're interested. Depending on the number we'll pick a restaurant in Richmond if that's the most central place. Depending on WHO responds if Lexington is more central then since I live here we may meet in Hamburg.
I'll bring the handouts and my laptop. You bring your brains.

What time on Sunday would we be meeting, because I would love to talk about the project. When I left the class on Wednesday night I felt a little in over my head when it came to the project about the settings and such.
ReplyDeleteI am flexible. I need to meet a colleauge in Lexington at 4:00 to drop off supplies for a district audit. So, I could do any time after that. It could be around that time or much later - say around 6, 7 or 8 if that works better for folks. I'm flexible.
ReplyDeleteWe'll be very specific and cover each section of the project. We'll talk strictly project - so a bit different in class where we covered material from the chapter.
I would love to meet with you! I am off on Sunday, so whatever time is good for other students works for me.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't one of you all that have a feel for college students' Sundays post a couple of times and we'll go from there. If you prefer do do earlier because you do things later . . . that's good. Or, if you're out with family or friends in the afternoon and would prefer to do that and then settle down and study in the evening - shoot us some later times for options.
ReplyDeleteAlso, give me some ideas of PLACES. I don't HAVE TO HAVE wifi bit it would be nice. Starbucks does NOT have free wifi. I found that out tonight.
i am willing to meet you on the campus since both of our laptops ll be working there it'd make everything easier on us. I am still sweating about my project. it gonna be challenging tons and anxious to be master at it. maybe when u re done with a group of students since my project is a little different. hopefully it ll apply to my grad school!
