Josh's Question
So Josh asked me if being in all those places help me find out what I want to do with me life. Well like any childhood I grow up thinking I was going to be something big and make lots of money. But being apart of the army made me think about the little jobs that make a big difference. For me when 9/11 happened it was like the whole world didnt really care about the army, it was just another job. But after our world was turned up side down everyone had American flags up and things on there cars about supporting the troops, yet when our world isnt in trouble people say we shouldnt have an amry. The army is the little people that do big jobs and for me a teacher is the same way. Teachers are one of the greatest jobs yet not alot of people appreciate what they do. Every country I have ever been to has a school and in that school there are teachers. So i guess the answer to your question is yes being able to see everything in this great world showed me what i was supposed to be.

I really liked what you said, it is very true. Only in crisis do people rely on the ones who can protect us and keep our freedom! I also agree that as teachers we do big jobs but we're not as recognized or as important until we're truly needed. At least though if we're effective teachers changing the lives of the students we teach, we'll get to go home each night fulfilled with knowing we are teaching our future generations!
ReplyDeleteI too have been a lot of places, and seen school settings in several different countries. Teaching is something you could do anywhere! It's a very noble job to have though!
ReplyDeleteI think it would be a really hard thing for me to work the rest of my life at a job that I was working at for only the paycheck. Or to look back and realize that I made no lasting mark on any one person. Wouldn't that be awful? I think a focus on wealth is a recipe for a discontented life. It seems to be that the people that are free and enjoying life are those that are morally strong, others-focused (God-Focused), and determined to be content in everything.
