I'm not sure when the "King Burger" video was added, but it was hilarious to watch. It had actually circulated around our office at work, and everyone got a big kick out of it. It definitely shows a different type of language. The sad part about it is that a lot of people talk like this in their everyday speech.
I just thought I would share that...if anyone hasn't watched the video, I would suggest checking it out.

I watched it last night. My daughter heard it and said, "What in the world are you watching?" I explained that it was a video posted by my professor showing how language was being used. She told me that a lot of her classmates actually tried to sound like that.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the reasons I want to become a teacher. I want children to realize that they do not have to sound like complete idiots to get their point across.
haha that video is very funny, but if you look at the related videos on the side, the video called can i have your number is super funny also.
ReplyDeleteOk...I have to admit that this is one of my favorites! This skit totally cracks me up and I have seriously watched it religiously since last November just to laugh at the ignorance!
