Monday night I had to leave class early because my mother had to have an emergency surgery. If you would please keep my family in your prayers I would greatly appreciate it. Mom is doing okay but she runs a school at my church and the school is really lost without her.
Also I had to leave right before we started with the books. So if anyone could tell me a little about that would be great!

ReplyDeleteThe activity with the books: We looked through the books and found words that children may have difficulty understanding that we could use to intoduce vocabulary words (semantics) to them. We found idioms,similes, and metaphors. We discussed the appropriate grade level for the books and if the children would need to know anything before reading the books (Racial segregation).
