Last night was so much fun, not only did we talk about our language project but we also talked about the summer and ourselves!!! I loved it!!! Thank you all for such a wonderful time! Oh and thank you Laura for the ride I appreciated it :)

I agree! Last night was a lot of fun. I enjoyed our conversations and getting out of the hot dorms! Now I am going to be working on this language project all day! I hope to finish it too. We will see.

ReplyDeleteI already knew . . . Mackenzie/Jessica doesn't have FOUR boy friends - she just has TWO personalities. One is Jessica. The other is Mackenzie! One is a hot rod, truck drivin' country girl. The other is this rugged rock climbin' awesome teacher.
I learned that Joanna can talk a teacher into anything if she "acts like" she was wrong when she know she wasn't. I learned Amanda loves pine soup and kills crawdads. I learned Katie signs a lot better than she leads us to believe. I learned Laura Lee is a water freak who has to have people hide her FB password from her. I learned Kayla is a wonderful teacher and listener when Laura Lee is "teaching" and Kayla signs better than she has let any of us see! I learned Edward's never been to the lake but IS going this summer with this wild Monday night group of students. I learned that Josh can work a table of hearing girls better than most hearing boys - even when most of the girls have boy friends! I also learned that Josh is honest even when he knows it's going to make an instructor/mother/friend crazy! Ok, so I was already crazy and it's ALWAYS good to be honest!
Can I just say AGAIN . . . how much I love the students around that table and those who weren't! We missed those of you who couldn't be with us. All of you are incredible!
I had a blast last night too! i am thrilled that i got to know every one of you a bit more. thanks for cracking me up even though we had limited communications. it meant a lot to me so you guys rock! i need more people like you all out there! full throttle on!

ReplyDeleteWhile I'm sure that Mrs. White will enjoy her time with the Wednesday night class, she won't have near as much fun with you as she did with us because we are her favorite!! =] Just ask her, she'll tell you!!!!!

What am I going to do this summer and next fall without you all!! I said that about last semester's students and I've managed to keep some of them around. Who am I going to rope into that from this semester??
