Ok, so I finally started to understand most of the project. If anyone is doing pragmatics and would be willing to explain to me the second part, function of language, on what we need to do for that part that would be awesome. Like do we just need to write a summary of what we think?

You should write 1-3 sentences about EACH one of those functions stating the child's competency or ability to do that based the sample you took. Support what you say with an example from the sample or if it was NOT present in the sample why you believe the child is or is not able to accomplish that function using language.
ReplyDeleteI'm open to anyone being BRAVE and posting an example of something they have written for one of the functions of language in their pragmatic analysis.
