Also, at one point in the conversation, my little boy says "Darnit!" Any clue on what that should be??

ReplyDeleteIs he DESCRIBING a feeling?
Is he stating that pain is HERE?
Is he communicating what happened?
Is he calling one's attention to pain?
What was his purpose in the statement? What did he mean? What was he communicating?
It really all depends on the context and the reason he is saying the word. Make sure and look and the surrounding sentences to see what is meant by the word.
